Art Educator
The 7th and 8th Grade students particiapted in a unit delving into careers in art. They had to first decide what career they wanted to research. They could choose from eight different careers in art:
Then, they had to research the career, create a project dealing with that career, and make business cards. After they completed all the required steps of the project, they got together in groups in order to put together a presentation for the class. In the presentations, the students discussed their new knowledge of art careers with their classmates. They displayed their completed projects and business cards, and answered other classmates' questions.
